Position: Backend / Sr. Backend Engineer (Java)
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh
Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend/Sr. Backend Engineer with a strong proficiency in Java to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and applications that power our platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, robust, and high-performance backend systems using Java.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement data storage solutions and ensure data integrity.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance and reliability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to bring innovative solutions to the team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, with a minimum of 3-5 years in Java development.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
- Proficiency in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
