Indiana Fever's Caitlin Clark Shatters WNBA Single-Season Assists Record
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has etched her name into the WNBA history books once again. On Friday night, Clark surpassed the previous single-season assists record of 316, set last season by Alyssa Thomas of the Connecticut Sun. In a game against the Las Vegas Aces, Clark dished out her 317th assist of the season, showcasing her exceptional playmaking skills.
With less than five minutes remaining in the game, Clark made a precise inbounds pass to a sprinting Kelsey Mitchell, who then scored a layup. This assist marked Clark's fifth of the night.

Clark’s latest achievement follows her earlier milestones this season, including breaking the single-game assists record with 19 assists in a loss to the Dallas Wings and surpassing both the rookie assists record (225 by Ticha Penicheiro in 1998) and the franchise assists record (201 by Erica Wheeler in 2023).
