About Us:
The Lake View Hotel, a popular pub/hotel on the Far South Coast of NSW, is seeking skilled chefs to join our dynamic team in Merimbula.
Qualifications:
- Completion of Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience as a CPD, junior sous chef, or in a similar kitchen management role.
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff.
- Strong expertise in menu planning, development, and execution, with a focus on innovative and seasonal dishes.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook dishes to meet the restaurant's high standards.
- Maintain consistent quality across all dishes.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and refine seasonal menu items.
- Manage kitchen inventory and control food costs.

Additional Information:
