Mumbai: A shocking rape case at a prestigious law college in Kolkata had already sent shockwaves across the country. Now, another horrifying incident has come to light—this time involving a school student being raped, and the accused is none other than his own school teacher. Allegations have surfaced that the teacher had been sexually assaulting the student for the past year. This gruesome incident took place at a reputed school in Mumbai. A 40-year-old female teacher has been accused of raping a 16-year-old student. Reports indicate that she would take the boy to five-star hotels and rape him. A case has been registered against the accused teacher under the POCSO Act and the Juvenile Justice Act, along with multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code.
It has been learned that the teacher is married and has children. She was an English teacher at the school. She taught the boy when he was in Class XI. Later, she met him multiple times for the school’s dance group. In January last year, she made sexual advances toward him.
At first, the student ignored it. But then, the teacher contacted one of his classmates (who studied at another school). Through this friend, the boy was convinced that relationships between teenagers and older women were completely normal. He was told that he and the teacher were "meant for each other." Eventually, the boy agreed to meet her.
The teacher then took the minor to various hotels, where she would make him undress and rape him. When the boy grew anxious about the situation, she even gave him anti-anxiety pills.
She continued raping him multiple times in this manner. Before assaulting him, she would also make him consume alcohol. She would take him to different hotels in South Mumbai and near the airport to force him into physical relations.
The incident came to light when the boy’s family noticed a change in his behavior. After persistent questioning, he revealed everything. Initially, the family decided to hush up the matter, hoping that once the boy graduated, the teacher would stop harassing him. But the opposite happened.
Police sources revealed that the teacher later contacted the boy through her maid, asking to meet him again. This prompted the family to finally file a police complaint. The accused teacher’s car—which she used to take the boy to hotels—has also been seized.
