Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and qualified Electrical Technician to join our service team at the Lal Lal Wind Farm. The ideal candidate will possess a recognized Australian trade certificate and be ready to contribute to the maintenance and operation of wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on wind turbines.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance needs outside of regular hours as part of a rostered team.
  • Maintain company vehicles and equipment in clean, operational condition.
  • Operate high and low voltage systems within the limits of your training and authorization.
  • Ensure all tasks prioritize personnel safety and environmental protection.
  • Complete site inductions and adhere to Service Maintenance Agreements.
  • Comply with OH&S legislation and contribute to accident prevention initiatives.
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Electrical trade certificate.
  • Full clean driving license.

Desired Skills

  • Proficiency in PC and modern technologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with PLC and SCADA systems is a plus.
  • Strong motivation to learn and grow in the renewable energy sector.
  • Knowledge of safety principles and commitment to compliance.
  • Experience with HV/LV systems, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
  • Proficient use of hand tools.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Comfort with heights and confined spaces.
