Position Overview:

Wings Migration Global Consultants is hiring for a Child Care Coordinator role on behalf of our client. This full-time position involves managing and coordinating child care services at one of six remote locations around Alice Springs, NT. The role is crucial in ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective management of children’s programs.

Eligibility:

  • Must be currently residing in Australia (No Overseas Applicants accepted).
  • Sponsorship available: Transition from a 485 or any work visa to a 482 visa.
  • Willingness to relocate to a remote location is required.

Role Description:

The Child Care Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of child care services, ensuring high standards of service delivery across multiple sites. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining compliance with policies, and managing resources effectively.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and manage child care services, ensuring professional and quality service delivery.
  2. Maintain service standards and key performance indicators (KPIs) across multiple locations.
  3. Ensure compliance with relevant policies, funding agreements, and legislation.
  4. Lead, coach, and mentor team members to ensure high-quality service and adherence to Council policies and WHS obligations.
  5. Provide detailed verbal and written reports on site and program operations.
  6. Offer recommendations on program directions and outcomes to the Manager.
  7. Oversee the maintenance and appropriate use of equipment and resources.
  8. Coordinate procurement and resource management across sites.
  9. Develop and implement program activities, ensuring consistency and quality across all locations.
  10. Promote a proactive culture of health, safety, and wellbeing.
  11. Perform other reasonable duties as delegated by the Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in child care or a related field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of child development and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Certification or training in child care is advantageous.
  • ACECQA skills assessment required.
